my brother called me for dinner a few hours ago..  :)

we had a short and sweet conversation at the phone.. 

guess what.. ?

i felt so great to talk to him even just for a short moment.. 

hmm, i think just 5 minutes chat?

 yes. it was.  :)

and i enjoyed every words we had

 because i can feel his joy through his voice :)

in this semester, he very seldom call me for makan as he was really busy..

but he called me now haha.. 

...but... is my turn to get busy d..  :( 

as final and wrapping up of every meeting is approaching 

and is just around the corner..

it seem like the saying cross my mind again..

~ ...so many things to do.. so little time... ~

.. u know what ? 

that quotation is a title of a story book .. haha.

that was one of my favourite collection  as a teenager..

hmm~

 when he was turned down by me for the dinner he invited me just now..

he sound normal ..as his usual self 

.. "alright.. then fine.. u so busy..dun want to disturb u d...bye..."

then , i would feel a bit guilty .. and just said sorry and goodbye..

but most of the time.. i will try my best to accept his invitation ..

as that is the only chance we get to meet :) 

 haha..

that is how he always respond when i was not free and rejected him..

maybe that is how i behave too to my friends sometimes haha..

when i kind of like speechless... 

 i will say .. "fine..it's ok.. nvm"..

they know me.. :D

 i do not need to mention who are they haha. :D 

but this time i responded differently to him as i miss him a lot..

hmm, very long time didnt meet him and makan with him d...

do not get it wrong.. =p

i still reject him this time because i want to rest as i am not feeling well today.... 

 ( lack of sleep cause my immune system to turn bad d... :'(

now.. i had learnt my lesson d.. )

 .. i added more on my speech .haha before he hang off his call..

hmm~ 

frankly say.. i did not plan to say those words in the beginning but it just happen to came across my mind as i want to chat more with him.. 

i want to hear his voice for a longer period... 

i guess...

u will understand if u long time did not meet your loved ones.. 

i miss my home.. i miss my family.. :'(

i told him that i truly appreciate his call to me even though i cannot make to makan with him.. ;) 

he felt surprise and asked me back.. "wah.. really ar? hmm " 

i knew he was happy and smiling when he asked me.. ♥

actually ,..

 i everyday also got so many stories to share in the blog..

every moment also i feel like blogging since i started to blog ..

last time, Facebook was the place where i voiced out my feeling and whatever that is on my mind to be my status.

however... haha

hmmm… guess what? 

after i got a suggestion from my senior hehe miss sanguine..

i got myself to create a blog of my own page to share my stories J ..

but it seem like Facebook is much more convenient for me sometimes as it was fast ...

the only bad thing that i experienced in facebook was that the status should not be too long..  that is bad as I can write a lot

sometimes when I wrote so long for my status..

hmm… it seem like I was so annoying sometimes. .. haha.

That is what I think..

 But that is actually one of the reason I started to blog here

as I can be a story teller here and it is my right to blog about my life
haha. and can be as long that i want.. right?  :p 

p/s : hmm I guess I still need to be alert to not write anything that is too sensitive.. (I was aware of namewee.. my parents had warned me to be careful... haha.. )…

I have no idea why but I got this habit since I was a small girl..

I love to write as I can improve my grammar and increase my vocabulary..

That is what I thought of when I was in primary school..

Since I was studying in a convent and was an english educated ,,
 all my friends are good in English ..  :/

That is why I wrote a lot so that I can actually communicate with them. Haha improving myself at that time :p

That is actually funny and hilarious or sometimes quite embarrassed when I talked to them as their language is much more better than me haha.

I guess everyone have the same mind set or maybe gone through this kind of experience when they are young and still immature,.

It is called peer pressure..
sometimes, it a healthy competition haha...
 that is what the teacher said..

=D

Anyway, I should thanks God and my parents for sending me to convent school as I had learnt a lot and grow a lot from there ..

Eventhough sometimes, I felt that it was a waste that I am known as one of the banana gal haha.

But there is still some advantage when I am a banana J

Yesterday or maybe just 8 hours ago? And also last Sunday.. something struck my mind…

I get to experience something that I long for.. it was so strong that I cried a lot… and reflect a lot… ....
~.......~

It was cool to have this experience..

However, this stories will be continued next time I blog again haha..

Bcoz ..

I just slept for three hours yesterday and wake up early in the morning to jog with my friend at the stadium..
what to do?

I will always try my best to fulfill the promise I had made with a friend….

That is why I would never simply make a promise to anyone..
as i know my broken promise might hurt them or have some negative impact in our friendship..
i always try my best to avoid conflict as i prefer to have peace with everyone...  :)
but nobody is perfect.. 
everyone is just doing their best in being the best that they could be..

And That is how I live my life..

and that is how I was taught by my mom

 Unless I really cannot make it..

then, I seriously will apologise to the one I break any promise I had made..  :D

I think it is time to say sayonara as the Spirit is willing to share … but my  human flesh is just too lethargy at this moment..

Day two~~ 

For the second day, Milky and I managed to wake up at 8.30am but Kuma Kuma was still lazing at the bed until 10am in the morning.

At 12noon, we had our brunch at Larut Matang hawker center. We had the most famous fish ball noodles and Honeydew Mountain or me kua chium. We also had some hokkien mee and some tasty fried chicken at the hawker center. All of these cost us just around RM17 and it worth it as we had our full stomach. ^_^

We had some hot conversation at the hawker center too for around an hour. After that, we had our ride to the Sentosa Villa which is a hideaway to relax the mind. We did not manage to walk to the end of Sentosa Villa as it was starting to rain as usual haha. We expected it as we were in Taiping the raining town.

cendol and pasembor :)

 We ended our trip and went to have our snack at Restaurant Ansari Famous Cendol together with Ted who came back from work. We had some cendol which mixed with red bean and pulut. It is famous because of the pulut panggang which eat with the cendol desert. Ted got a plate of pasembor for us to share and he was back to be our photographer haha.

 Eventhough it was still raining, we managed to take a few shoot at The First Gallery with the antique Telok Chempedak 22125 train and the antique red telephone booth outside the gallery. On the way back to Kuma Kuma’s house, we had some shoot in the car with Ted’s lou po.

Then, we rested for a few hours at home recharging ourselves and recharging the DSLR battery because it was really tiring. 


At home, we copied the pictures we had and we were really satisfied as most of the pictures are beautiful. DSLR really is a good camera as it can focus clearly even we are shaking when we are taking pictures. It cost Ted for about 2K for that camera. 

Frankly saying, I do love having a camera and taking pictures around especially the nature and people but I cannot afford a good camera at this moment. 




Last time when I had my first nokia handphone, I used to enjoy taking a lot of pictures of the scenery and myself. It was just two megapixels and yet, the picture’s focus is really clear and nice. However, I lost the handphone and I am still waiting for my new Sony Ericson with 5 megapixels. I was expecting of owning it in a few weeks time. =) hopefully.

After two hours of resting and blogging, Ted drove us to the Matang Mangrove Forest or known as Hutan Paya Laut Matang. We saw some kera and small tiny crab at the mangrove forest. We got to see a woodpecker flying around the mangrove tree too. We also snap some pictures posing on the boat near the mangrove area. 


Basically, the mangrove forest does not have any special activities or other nice landscape except the mangrove trees. It is treated as a place for researchers or students to learn and study about mangrove forest and nature.

After around one hour of walk at the mangrove forest pathway, Ted drove us to Kuala Sepetang night market because Kuma Kuma want some sotong ball. We got to try some seafood tauhu from the same stall as sotong ball. Both are quite crispy with the flour and they sprinkle some pepper and curry powder after they fried it.

After that delicacy snacks, we went for our dinner at a restaurant at Kuala Sepetang. Kuala Sepetang is famous for ??? haha.. seafood ~ yummy :)  Ted ordered three dishes which were the salted egg hey kor or called as lai liu har in cantonese, salad prawn and sotong in kam heong style. ..sambal kind …  J

It costs about RM45 for the entire three dishes and two plate of plain rice and a pot of pui er tea…

After had some walk around tesco, we went for a supper at Kamunting roadside for the famous wo tan hor and yee mee.

The wo tan hor is the most nice noodles for me since childhood. Then only the fish ball noodles at Larut Matang as my second favourite noodles at Taiping. My family used to buy the wo tan hor and yee mee otten at night as we were driving back home after visit popo house at Kamunting. It had been a tradition for us, but the tradition had become a history as my dad got his stroke when I was in standard two and we did not go to Kamunting that often. 




The stall at the side of the main road beside the esso petrol station opens only at night time. It was really delicious and famous with the noodles.

 If I am not mistaken, the stall is more than 25 years old. Most of the retreat we had was treated by Ted and Kuma kuma. We are really grateful to have them as our tour guide and friends.

Even after we came back and has our shower, we did not stop taking pictures of ourselves as we were so fascinating with DSLR. We really enjoy ourselves taking pictures with that good camera. We did some stupid and crazy plus funny pose in Kuma Kuma’s room. Haha. That is all for tonight…. J

They slept early than me again as I went to bed at 2am after finish blogging at Microsoft word as there is no internet connection available. Later when I had the chance only I copy and paste plus some proofread to my new blog =)

Day one~

During the weekend, I went to the raining town which is Taiping with my two of my close friends in usm who are Kuma Kuma and Milky. 


We stayed at Kuma kuma’s house for three days and two nights. I do not want to go back home as I want to give a surprise to my mum. Through this trip, I get to know more of raining town eventhough I was here since I was borned haha~~

First of all, why would I call it as raining town, it was because Taiping is the place where it receives a lot of rain if you remember your geography which is a fact and is true. It will rain nonstop for the whole day when it started to rain.

We took a bus from the jetty to Kamunting bus station after our Friday class. Then, we went for our lunch at around 2.30pm at the most famous laksa at Pokok Asam. 


We took   ( “high the ar”) as our drinks, it has some cincau and coconut and nata de coco. It tastes like lemon pepsi cola. New thing and it quite expensive   ><     but it was refreshing with the laksa.
 The shop was located at a house named H0Z Laksa.

It was delicious with sour and spicy taste. We realized that Penang laksa taste sweet while Taiping laksa taste sour and spicy. Each has their own specialty and both are nice for me. The drink was more expensive than the laksa but it was worth it.

We thought of having cendol but it started to rain. We ended up did not go for cendol that day as it was inconvenience to get out of the car and get wet. We went to Taiping Sentral instead and have a walk there. It was just the same kind of mall we had in Penang or any other place. 




After the rain stopped awhile, we went to Balai Bomba area and get ourselves some taufufa and soya beans. It was really delicious and the taufufa is very smooth. Even the Kajang people can differentiate the different as it was really smooth and delicious. That taufufa has always been my favourite desert in Taiping.

We got ourselves a piece of green tea cake from La’ Promise café. Many Taiping lang will say that it is one of the delicious cake house in Taiping.

We bought a piece for Kuma Kuma’s mum as mother’s day which was on Sunday, the 13^th of May.

Then, we went back home and bath. Oh ya, I almost forgot to mention of my fashion room show just after we reached her house from the bus station, I was fitting on her dresses to prepare myself for the farewell night I will be having on the 26^th of May.


 Some dresses quite suit my style and some not that nice for me. I am still searching my own dress style as I do not wear dress often.  

That night, we went for another famous laksa shop for our dinner at around 8.30pm. Actually it was quite late for my dinner as I usually had my dinner at around 6pm most of my daily life. This laksa is not just ordinary laksa but it is call the lemak laksa as they mixed the laksa soup with the curry soup together. You can eat the soup with any type of noodles. 




Milky and I had it with bihun and kuew tiow noodle. This type of noodles is our favorite as I do not like the yellow mee except mamak mee with sour taste. Basically, I prefer any food that taste sour as sour give me more appetite feeling. Haha. I love all the sour taste food.

It tastes not bad as the sour and spicy taste was nice. It actually not that spicy, it was just the right taste as they blend the soup together. We had our dinner with Kuma Kuma’s friends. It was Ted his friend. I met them before as I went to Tambun with them a month ago. It was generous of them to treat us the laksa  =)

Then, Ted drove us to Taiping Lake Garden and ‘the ah kua’ village. Haha. Let’s start with the Lake Garden first~!! It is the most famous tourist place in Taiping as the scenery of the nature is really beautiful. 


No worries, I know this place as Taiping lang must definitely know this place. If not, you should not tell anyone that you are from Taiping , haha. :D


We went there to take some pictures at the playground. It was familiar as I used to take pictures with my friends at the playground eventhough we are not children anymore as our heart is still young to be called as children. Yippee, would this be nicer if I call myself as having the child like faith haha. Not really for this situation but I do want to have that J

It was memorable as we take pictures at there as the childhood memories came back alive to us. We did go to the sky bar of Flemington Hotel, but did not manage to take any pictures there. 




After the photo shooting time using DSLR of Ted most precious lau po, he drove us to see the ah kua village near the lake area. It is a common story as night time Lake Garden is the place for the homosexual or maybe transsexual people for entertainment or dating purposes.


 In the dark as you see them, you will not realize that they are not ladies as they look alike like ladies and their breast are really huge. They waited outside the house for male customer give me the feeling that they are no different as prostitutes. It not the first time I see them but it was the first time I went to their village. 




All of us were so afraid of them that we sit lower to cover our face. Haha. But we felt relieve after went out of the village as we got the thinking that they might not like to see any real ladies like us haha. :D

Then, our night drive ended there and we went back to Kuma Kuma’s house. We continued our online quiz for om and thanks God we manage to complete all of the om quiz.


 I was having the third attempt and thanks God for answering my prayer for an easy question for the third time and I managed to get 100 % for it with the help of my friends. :)


We did it until around 1.30am in the morning. 


Then, as the usual tradition of girls, we had a pillow talk for more than an hour about boy and girl relationship.
 It was fun as we listen to each other opinion and own experience for BGR. Hmm, I think we did not get to listen to Milky’s story.   ....

Alright, they slept but I did not sleep yet, I thought of blogging but it was too late, so I just facebooking awhile and slept at 3.30am.

That the end of the first day of our trip.   buhbyee for now ...zzZzzZZZ~

this morning, 
i was having my brunch with my close friends at Subaidah. 
after i finish my brunch, i notice two old ladies and an old indian man having their brunch too. they are the workers at that building. 


as i was observing, wondering what are they having with their lunch boxes packed from home.
 i realised it was just plain white rice and some dal curry. it just simply dal curry with plain rice. i suddenly felt so sad and sympathies to them. 


i feel very grateful to God that i had enough to buy nasi kandar subaidah with some vegetables with a piece of chicken and some curry gravy. at that moment, i got the urge to buy some chicken for them but i did not do it as i had to rush to another class. i also had no idea how to give them. will they think i seem to be over pity them or what.


 so i did not do as my heart tell me to. my friends realise that i looked so down and emo. i just deny that. ~ 
it is a sad thing to see what they just ate ..
and they still look contented with it. o.O


i felt as if i am so rich at that time. i was grateful to God that He blessed me enough to eat each day of my life, and it teaches me not to waste any food. ... at the same time... be contented all the time  :D  ~~
